The begining

I think to begin with, it would be a good idea to give a little information about myself and my fiance. Our wedding in April will actually be our second trip down the aisle together. (First time getting married!) We met in November of 2007 when we stood up together at Angie (My sister) and Brad's (his childhood friend) wedding. We both lived in the same city and we were both the only single attendants. You might say it was a set up. It was obvious from the beginning that we were very much opposites, but despite our differences we really hit it off. I am sure the wine didn't hurt either!

Fast forward one year and two months later. We were 24hrs away from a weekend trip to Vegas. We had called in an order for pizza and were waiting for it to arrive when there in our apartment he proposed. After the proposal, he told me he had planed on doing it in front of the fountain at the Bellagio, but the ring was burning a hole in his pocket and he just couldn't hold onto it! He had the ring in his possession for a total of about 2 hours! :) I am pretty sure that is one of the reasons that I love him.
Becuase we had already talked about getting married and had an idea of when we both wanted to have our wedding it was fairly easy to pick the date. We didn't want it to be too hot or too cold or too close to other holidays, so we chose April 10, 2010. Having set the date began our one year and three month count down to our big day. Let the planning commence!
